The other day we were conducting our bi weekly scavenger hunt for interesting things related to Rolex Watches. The search “Art with Roex” can honestly be hit or miss from time to time, however; this particular search returned a very colorful side of Rolex that we had never seen before.
Art with Rolex!
Tons of color and illustration effects create these pieces of wall art from Cherart of Sweden who recently in 2015 became an official dealer of Mayfair Editions. There are a number of different canvas or print sizes to choose from which can help you get the right piece for your living space.
The incorporation of Rolex Watches into these works of digital artistry were very well thought out and executed. Everything from the design, textures, and color schemes have you moving with emotion. Obviously you gravitate to your favorite Rolex Watch, but you can also appreciate other models a little more. It really helps fill the disconnect between models due to individual preference and we are able to appreciate Rolex as a whole.
Cherart of Sweden has done such a great job combining two luxury markets (high end art work and luxury timepieces) that gives us a new perspective. Instantly recognizable as a Rolex and a thought provoking piece of art at a single glance. The problem we are facing now is which pieces should we buy!?
There was even some fun to be had using Marvel Comics Characters for an added dose of inspiration.
In fact, the watches themselves have picked up nick names that match their characters. The Green Submariner is going by the “Hulk”, and the black and blue GMT-Master II is going by Batman etc… The color schemes of the watches coupled with the popularity of comic books among grown men is very apparent.
You still have all the classic look and feel of your favorite Rolex Watches and the excitement of hanging art. Great for conversations or finishing off a room with a touch of interest. Cherart of Sweden has also started producing a similar works in limited numbers of other high luxury watches and automobile brands into their art as well. We can highly recommend heading to their website www.cherartofsweden.com and taking a look around for your self!
