Rolex Watches are Expensive. The price bracket can start as low as $2,500 for a Pre-Owned Rolex Watch and quickly run up from there. Some even roll their eyes at the mere thought of purchasing a watch at this price. However; there is a lot that goes into the production of Rolex Watches that makes them Expensive.
Why Rolex Watches are Expensive?

“The Rolex name is automatically associated with quality”
You will be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn’t know the name Rolex. In fact, the Rolex name is automatically associated with quality. From the very beginning the brand has been striving for the best results in precision time keeping while pushing the limits. Being the first of this or that which still continues today even after 80 plus years. This name, this brand, and everything that falls under it’s umbrella is expensive.
Rolex Watches are Expensive because the demand is so high. A great example of this is recently released Rolex Daytona 11650LN which customers were waitlisted for. Now that this particular model is starting to pop up here and there the price ($18,000.00US) is considerably higher then the retail value ($12,500.00US). These types of situations only pertain to particular watch models, but non the less it contributes to the “Rolex Watches are Expensive” theme.
